This video is a serious shout-out to be doing what you love. Aye, livin' the pirate lifestyle be about bein' happy. 

Steve Jobs said something that really makes the bein' happy point. Steve said, "I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something...." 

This past week or so, I was looking in the mirror and questioning my life. A lot of bad things happened, all at once, like they tend to do. And I began to wonder if I needed to change something. 

As an example, my three year old flip cam, that I have shot nearly two hundred videos with, died a few weeks ago. So I did some research, and I purchased a new video camera. Well, when we got back to the boat after our day of shopping in Pensacola, the very day I bought the video camera, we had no Internet service. For ten days after that, we had iffy Internet. I wasn't able to do my online work. No work, no money. 

So I start looking in the mirror and thinking to myself, "Is all this making YouTube videos and spending time online, Goggle+, Twitter, Facebook, forums, and all the rest...really worth it?" 

Is this all a big sign? Should I return this camera, get my money back, and give up on this Internet stuff?

I was seriously thinking about making a big announcement about YouTube, and me being online and taking a break from it all...That very day. That very same day, I receive a message from a good friend. The message simply says, "Do you have some time to chat? I have some fun news to share with you."

So I'm wondering what this important fun news might be. So I put off making my big announcement. We get together the next day, and my friend shares the exciting fun news. I cannot share the details, sorry, but amazingly it has to do specifically with me being online and making YouTube videos. 

What's important in your life? The thing is, I love makin' YouTube videos. This is something that really makes me happy. And, for about a week, I was seriously thinking of giving it all up. 

So remember, "If today were the last day of your life, would you want to do what you are about to do today?"
