Prior to the making of this video, I made a prediction regarding the nature of Deandre Ayton's assists in this game. As you will soon see, it was more of a "prophecy" than a "prediction", which, by extension, makes me a prophet. Prophet DTB. Nice. Has a ring to it. Here's my prediction/prophecy (which I promise is unaltered from the original):

"It is 9:12 AM. I predict that, of, Deandre Ayton's assists, three of them are handoffs, one of them is a nice pass to a three-point shooter, and one of them is a pass to a guy who makes a layup five seconds later after doing a bunch of moves that should have negated the assist."

It's crazy how close my prediction was to reality. Let's break down the assists:

0:36 - Pass to Josh Jackson on the three-point line, who catches and drives in for a layup.
1:27 - Handoff to Isaiah Canaan who immediately jacks up a three.
1:33 - Basically a handoff to T.J. Warren who does a spin move before hitting some kind of floater thing.
1:59 - Basically a handoff to Jamal Crawford, who, in true Crawford fashion, jacks up a three.
2:04 - Nice pass to an open T.J. Warren on the three-point line

So we have three handoffs (or dump-off passes that achieve the same effect), a pass to a three-point shooter, and a pass to a guy who makes a layup. The only place where my prophecy erred is where I said that the layup-maker would do enough with the ball to nullify the benefit of Ayton's pass. Jackson basically took the pass and immediately went and scored with it.

Despite that minor error, I think I have earned enough prophecy cred to start my own religion. Please don't call it a cult. Cults are led by deranged egomaniacs. I am the mouthpiece of God on earth. Learn the difference.
