Heavy rains continue to lash Kodagu district. Sevaral bridges and low lying areas have been inundated as a result of it. A family was seen struggling to transport a dead body in the rain as the bridge connecting the place was submerged due to overflowing river. The family was seen transporting the body on the water logged bridge as the ambulance wasn't able to reach the house 

The incident took place in Mannangeri village and the deceased has been identified as Achchapatira Machamma.
