There are TONS of slot canyons in the area and two canyons that are very novice friendly were just about 45 minutes down a gravel road from where we had the rv parked. These canyons were BEAUTIFUL! We are novice canyoneers and had no problems getting all the way through both even though there were a few groups who were turning back. Even if you aren't in the area, these are worth going out of your way to see.
