Previous Darkroom Diary - https://goo.gl/I1wx5A Hey everyone! After lots of researching I finally felt confident enough to attempt to process my own film from home. I bought the starter kit from West End Cameras based in London. Here is the link to the kit i bought https://goo.gl/vq0eiq It was amazing to be able to process my own film instead of paying silly money and waiting 2 weeks for certain retailers to do it. Plus, I have full control of the entire process from shooting to processing and scanning my negatives...there's no middle man now. Its cheaper, and a lot quicker than waiting 10 days. Its a really fun process and I cant wait to process my next role of film :) #GEEKPART I used Kodak T-Max 400 and processed this with the help of a fantastic app called Massive Dev which guides you through how long each chemical needs to be in the tank for and how often to agitate. These numbers change depending on the film and developer you're using. The app has an extensive list of films and developers already listed so i was able to find out the numbers needed via this app. For the 'scanning' part. I used my DSLR and ipad as I don't have a physical scanner. I put a cut out piece of plastic bag behind the negative so i wasn't photographing the pixels on the ipad but still projected the light through it. I hope that makes sense? Then brought the scan into lightroom and tweaked it till i got a tone i liked! :) Thanks for watching!! :D -------------------------------------------------------------- More Behind-The-Scenes Videos http://www.tommyreynolds.co.uk/behindthescenes -------------------------------------------------------------- Online Shop http://goo.gl/n1YDjk -------------------------------------------------------------- SOCIAL MEDIA Blog: http://goo.gl/UWAOKY Facebook: https://goo.gl/33tkXo Twitter: https://goo.gl/847yEg Instagram: https://goo.gl/EYS6TC
