Since Parliament's Portfolio Committee on police raised concerns about the high number of police suicides early this year, even more cases have been reported. Unions insist that the rate of these incidents will only decrease once Employee Assistance programs are improved and when psychological debriefing is mandatory in the service. To discuss this further we're joined by Mpho Kwinika, President of the South African Policing Union as well as Bragadier Petunia Lenono from the South African Police Service.
