First album with drummer Marco Pitruzzella. Sleep Terror is the brainchild of Seattle guitarist and multi instrumentalist Luke Jaeger with death metal machine Marco Pitruzzella (Six Feet Under, Braindrill) on drums. Sleep Terror's follow up to the acclaimed 'Unhemispheria' is the new album 'El Insomne', a shred salad that challenges the boundaries between surf music, technical death metal, acoustic guitar, sophisticated funk and flooring metal groove. If Quentin Tarantino made a death metal movie, this would be it. With production co- helmed by Zack Ohren (Machine Head, Immolation, Entheos, All Shall Perish, Fallujah), the album consists of 8 tracks that oscillate between surf passages, grinding seventies funk bass, gravity defying extreme metal and face-melting blast beats. The conceptual nature of this album is further complemented with extended album art created by Visual Amnesia (Slipknot, Allegaeon, Twelve Foot Ninja, Textures, Monuments) that depicts the nightmarish landscape of a Mariachi's bizzare dream bound to give one sleepless nights. Luke Jaeger: Guitars, Bass, additional instruments Marco Pitruzzella: Drums Co-mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren. All songs written and composed by Luke Jaeger Art by Reuben / Visual Amnesia Sleep Terror © 2018. All rights reserved.
