I recorded this song for the Poor Clare Nuns of Spokane, for whom the composer Eileen Lillis was abbess almost 20 years. Copyright 1965, Eileen Lillis, OSC. Published by OCP Publications This song appeared in the Breaking Bread music issue put out by OCP, going back about 35 years. I was recording some old music and came across it. It's a simple song, resembling a chant. The words are below. Christ the light is coming, dawn breaks in the east. Sion sound the trumpet, call the marriage feast Say to the fainthearted, courage, do not fear All things are accomplished. Lo!
