For our last day in Krabi, our Couchsurfing host, Apisit takes us to his family's village where we learn how to make coconut sticky rice from scratch.

We cut down our own coconuts, crack them open and shave the inside to make fresh coconut milk. We then cut some pieces of bamboo and fill them with that coconut milk and some rice. We cook this over a fire to make the most delicious sticky rice we've ever tasted!

The best part of traveling is being able to experience what life is like in different cultures. Thanks so much Apisit for making our visit to Krabi unforgettable!
