Beatport Purchase: http://www.beatport.com/release/endless-future/872822 As 2011 drew to a close we touted the production duo of Noa Romana and Deersky as one's to watch for 2012. After what was probably the best debut release all year on Underground City Music in September the pair followed that up with the excellent 'Moonface' single on Mistique to close out the year. As 2012 began Noa & Deersky delivered their first ever remix, the duo's interpretation of Max Mason & Avi Rashid's 'H2o' for Deepsessions furthered their uniquely spacey progressive sound. Now as the month of March 2012 is nearing its end we find Noa and Deersky back on Mistique Music for their second single for the label entitled 'Endless Future' which comes with remixes from: Carlos Fox, Jose Tabarez and Stefan Djordevic. The 'Endless Future' original is an epic composition which clocks in at over 10 minutes in length. A spacious DJ friendly intro leads the piece to a brief drop where some nice percussion elements are introduced along with some vaporous, descending synth sweeps. It honestly sounds like some sort of futuristic electronic wasteland, the vibe is truly incredibly simply because of how good the sound design is. A set of airy synths lay a nice melodic layer high above the proceedings as the track approaches the breakdown. The drop is another well crafted selection of melodic accents, subtle bells and gaseous atmospheres, nothing here is over bearing or too pronounced, it's just perfect. The second half presents what sounds like a heavily processed guitar which yields a thought provoking and deeply moving melodic section to close the record out. Spectacular stuff from Noa Romana and Deersky. The first remix is supplied by Paraguay's Carlos Fox and he's turned a much more club friendly version which proves to be an excellent addition to the package. A driving and momentous bass line roots the track, a serious of chord changes pushes the track forward as some of the subtle atmospheric elements are used just enough as to not dull the energy of the track. The breakdown brings the hazy, melancholic lead from the original into the spotlight and it sounds fabulous as a second synth line builds up around it to push the energy even higher during the second half. Great remix from Carlos. Hungarian producer Jose Tabarez is next and he follows a great remix of Deeplake's 'Bora Bora' for Stellar Fountain from February with a classy rework here. Additional glassy keys and a wicked vocal snip add a remarkably new twist on the track. The main drop is gorgeous with lovely sections of heavily processed key clusters working some serious emotional magic. Top work from Jose. Another producer moving up the progressive ranks at a rapid rate in Serbia's Stefan DJordjevic, following his remix of Selim Gaston's 'Kingdom Of Heaven' on Deepsessions progressive house fans really took notice of Stefan and after several great productions on Underground City Music, Deepsessions, Baires and LuPS to follow that up he continues to grow with each successive outing. Stefan's 'Endless Future' remix comes with a low slung, grinding groove and a wicked vocal snip. This is certainly the deepest most hypnotic mix on package and it's one you just get lost in, totally mesmerizing and a brilliant mood to close out one of the best releases on Mistique this year. Top stuff!
