During Monday's opening statement, George Zimmerman's defense attorney Don West used a bloodied and bruised picture of the defendant taken the night of the shooting to show that Zimmerman was in a fight for his life when he shot and killed Trayvon Martin.The "marks and abrasions" on his face and the "seemingly deviated nose" suggest, according to West, "that George Zimmerman took quite a wallop squarely in the face," West said.
