April is National Humor Month! Based on the sixth edition of the Scholastic Kids and Family Reading Report, 42% of kids look for books that make them laugh -- that's 4 in 10 kids! Whether your reluctant reader gravitates to a giggle-filled title or your early learner loves flipping through funny picture books, engaging kids to read through humor is a great way to encourage literacy development. The sixth episode of "Live From Our Library," a Facebook live chat series hosted by Scholastic Parents and Scholastic Librarian Deimosa Webber-Bey, gets your child giggling by showcasing the best funny books for all ages.
