This Ableton Live Very Quick Tip is about how to save presets for your Ableton Live devices. For this particular video I will also show you have to change the quality of Ableton's stock Reverb effect. When you drag a new instance of the Reverb onto a new audio channel that default quality setting is "eco" or economy. This means that Ableton will use a lower quality algorithm to produce the effect, which in turn means less drain on the CPU. We can change that parameter to "high" and then save that as a preset, so we can just drag and drop that version of the device onto the channel and skip a step or two.

This is not the same as setting the default preset. Although, the next Very Quick Tip covers how to go about doing that.
