In a bid to address the housing deficit in Nigeria, the Federal Government has launched the First ten thousand Mortgage for affordable homes scheme in Abuja.

The Scheme is designed to provide mortgage lending, with access to liquidity to the benefiting public.

The official launch was done by the Ministers of Finance and Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development
