I'm playing Hearthstone - Heroes of Warcraft (this time on the Americas server) and I am working my way through the Plague Quarter of Naxxramas.

In this video I am taking out Loatheb with a basic mage deck.

What is a basic mage deck? The basic mage deck is a deck with free cards only. It is a premade deck that all players have - when they have leveled the mage hero to level 10.

You get the basic mage deck when you start playing Hearthstone, and as you level up Jaina Proudmoore from level 1 to level 10, you earn new cards that are added to the basic deck automatically.

This video is mostly for the fun of it, I like challenging my self when playing Hearthstone - and defeating the Naxxramas bosses with pure basic decks is just one of the many crazy things I love to challenge myself with.

Besides being a personal challenge, I wanted to share this basic card video battle, to show that you can defeat the Naxxramas bosses and earn your new cards - without having amazing card collections.

You may not be able to defeat Loatheb in the first go with a basic card deck - but it is definitely doable!

Note: This is not a guide, tutorial or guarantee that will show you everything you need to do, in order to defeat Loatheb with a basic card deck - this is just the battle where I managed to do it!
