What better way to test your physical endurance as marine geoscientist other than going on board sailing to the northern part of South China Sea? From July 25 to July 28, the Basin Research Group of NCU had conducted a geological and geophysical cruise with aims to retrieve sediment cores and to conduct seismic surveys. Unfortunately, two summer typhoons (Nesat from the East and Haitang from the South) arrived just when we were on sail and had halted our 6-days cruise plan into 3-days cruise in reality :(. This vlog summarize the journey we had on the last 2 days of cruise.
