When it freezes over every winter, the Rideau Canal in Ottawa becomes "the world's longest skating rink." And this is the 55th straight day it's been open to the public. That's a record, says long time Ottawa resident Brian Lilley. The river normally thaws out at least once in a while during the season, rendering it unsafe for skating -- but not this year. "I was promised global warming!" Lilley jokes, before going on to talk about the climate change bigwig accused of sexual harassment.
