***HOW TO COOK THIS EASY SMOKED CHICKEN LEGS RECIPE***

Step #1
First you are going to prepare your Marinade by combining the oil, 2 limes, honey and spices together in a large mixing bowl. Once this is done go ahead and place both your chicken drumsticks and marinade in a large ziplock bag and let sit in the fridge for 30-60 minutes.

Step #2
While your Chicken legs are marinating in the fridge you will then go ahead and prepare your grill for indirect cooking at 350 degrees. Once this has been done, go a head an place your chicken over the cool side of the grill and begin cooking for 50-60 minutes. Before you close the lid, feel free to add your favourite hardwood for smoky good flavours.

Step #3
After 30 minutes open the grill and flip the chicken over to help get even cooking from the grill grate. It is also at this point where you will apply your Honey Glaze. When that is done, close the lid and continue cooking for 20-30 minutes.

Step #4
After about 60 minutes your chicken is ready to be moved from the cool side of the grill to the hot side for a quick sear. You will only want to do this for about 1 minute on each side just to add color and a bit of char for added flavour.

Step #5
Now that your chicken drumsticks are seared, go ahead and remove them from the grill. You will then apply a final glaze of your honey sauce followed by fresh squeezed lime and chopped cilantro. This give is a final fresh taste and helps balance all the flavours..

That's it, Enjoy.
