Irene Cara Nikka Costa Out here On My Own Fingerstyle Fingerpicking Guitar Cover Yamaha SLG200S Silent Guitar Subscribe to my Channel and have lots of Fun! This is a beautiful song that was made famous during the 80's when Nikka Costa was just a child. Don Costa, her Father arranged it for her though the original was a ballad from the 1980 musical film Fame, performed by Irene Cara. It was written by sibling songwriting duo Lesley Gore (lyricist) and Michael Gore (composer). Thanks Wikipedia! I always loved the song, so I decided to arrange it for pure fingerstyle guitar. My cover follows the one from Nikka Costa and the Great Don Costa . I hope you like it. I have not seen a pure fingerstyle arrangement on Youtube, but many sung covers. So here we go! As Always , please, good headphones or Speakers are highly recommended...
