MGP has demanded government to handover Chief Minister’s office charge to Senior Cabinet Minister Sudin Dhavlikar and has warned to contest Assembly bye-poll and LokSabha elections against the BJP candidates if demand not fulfilled. MGP central committee held a meeting on Saturday at party headquarters to discuss present administration scenario and mining issue. President Deepak Dhavlikar has stated that administration has been affected since February due to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar illness. 
Committee has extended support to mining dependant’s agitation called by Goa Mining People’s front. Deepak has informed that they will take part in dharna at Jantar Mantar-Delhi.
Meanwhile, Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte has alleged that administration has come to a standstill with Finance Department providing no support for his IT and Revenue Department projects. He has further informed that the scenario has been intimated to CM Parrikar and has asked for his intervention.
