Back on August 12 2017 I paddled over the flats off of Black Point and found that the sea grass in this part of the Indian River Lagoon was making a comeback. On Nov 22 2017 I returned to find the grass was gone. After Hurricane Irma billions of gallons of water were released from the C54 canal. The release turned out to much for the Indian River Lagoon around Sebastian, killing what little grass that was growing. On Dec 27 2017 I returned to see if any sea grass has started to grow. This is what I found.
