The SES-12 communications satellite was successfully deployed to a Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO) approximately 32 minutes after liftoff from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, on 4 June 2018, at 04:45 UTC (12:45 a.m. EDT). Falcon 9’s first stage previously supported the OTV-5 mission in September 2017. SpaceX did not attempt to recover Falcon 9’s first stage after launch. Credit: SpaceX
