Vik Shagal or today batter known as Alter Breed has been producing electronic music since his school age, at age of 16 (2003) he released his first single and in 18 years his first studio album Under his previous name 'Brain Damage" in 2007 officially has been lunched Alter Breed Project (originally with Alex Krupenko) with focus on a new waves of Progressive House and Techno sound. from that moment he released more than 30 singles & remixes, played and supported by dj's like:Armin van Buuren, Tiesto,Andrea Roma, James Harcourt, Jerome Isma-Ae ,Cid Inc, Peter Horrevorts and the list goes on. Alter Breed helped launch the Spherax label back in April of 2009 with his Manifest single and he has returned for the excellent 'Blue White EP'. There are 3 brand new originals included here and the EP starts off smashingly with 'Blue White'. Really positive progressive trance vibes on this one, a big bumble bee type lead sends this track into overdrive and gives it massive energy and a peaktime feeling. Should see plays from loads of progressive and trance DJs. 'Have No ID' follows with a similar feeling, big peaktime energy, big riffs and rock solid production. The EP finishes with 'Spring' which Alter Breed co-produced with Vitale and it has a distinctly more trancey vibe but also a bit more mellow and serene sounding at the same time. Beautiful atmospheres and floaty soundscapes make for a great way to close off and excellent EP from Alter Breed and Spherax!
