We bought and set up a brand new 10 Gallon tank! We can't decide what to put in it though. Guppy fry from our pregnant guppies or an awesome Male Crowntail Betta? Let me know what you guys think! Also why are there holes in my plants!? I'm guessing from the fish nipping at it but what can i do to prevent that then? 

Fish Set Ups:

20 Gal Tank:
Fish In The Tank Now- 1 Male Guppy, 3 Female Guppies, 1 Bristlenose Pleco, 2 Bloodfin Tetras
Fish Tank- Aqueon 20 Gal Long
Filter- Aqueon QuietFlow 20 (Up to 30 gal filter)
Heater- Aqueon Preset Heater, 100Watts - Set to 78 Degrees F
Lighting- A Clamp Desk Light From Walmart :D (12$) for Decent Lighting!
Plants- Lucky Bamboo/ Water Primrose/ Unknown Plant & we have a Moss Ball(Marimo) in this tank that has been in our other tank for months. :D
For oxygen, We're using a 10 gal air pump with a cheap little air stone

10 Gal Tank:
Fish In The Tank Now- 1 Male Crowntail Betta
Fish Tank- Aqueon 10 Gal
Filter- Aqueon QuietFlow 10 (Up to 20 gal filter)
Heater- Aqueon Preset Heater, 50Watts - Set to 78 Degrees F
Lighting- A Clamp Desk Light From Walmart With A 60Watt LED Replacement Bulb :D (12$) for Decent Lighting!
Plants- Water Primrose / Marimo (Moss Ball)
