Hundreds of protesters descend on Capitol Hill to urge swing-vote Republicans to reject Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh amid fresh allegations of sexual misconduct. Meanwhile longtime defender of women’s rights Gloria Allred speaks at the sentencing hearing for Bill Cosby, who was convicted of sexual assault earlier this year, saying she “is not optimistic” that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford will get a fair hearing when she testifies in Congress on the alleged sexual assault committed against her by Kavanaugh.
