This spectacular thunderstorm formed over Darwin, NT - Australia and moved offshore creating some of the best lightning displays I've seen to date. Watch this in HD to appreciate the amazing power of this relatively small thunderstorm that produced well over 1000 strikes! 

Video footage was captured in 1080p HD using Sony CX520VE and photos using Canon 1DMark III and 7D Cameras.
