After a lengthy career working in the government aid sector, Stephen Walker decided it was time to do more to help those less fortunate than he. After much research and analysis, Stephen decided to create an Australian chapter of Giving What We Can, an unaffiliated, international society dedicated to eliminating poverty in the developing world. Now, Stephen and his family give a significant portion of their net income to hand-selected poverty elimination projects, and he wants the TEDxCanberra audience to do the same.
