Geezerpalooza 2008 - A reunion of Florida Garage Bands from the 1960's at War Memorial Stadium in Fort Lauderdale FL. http://www.geezerpalooza2008.com

This video is taken at the end of the night when all the musicians had been asked to come on the stage for the finale! They were singing "That's What Friends Are For". Please excuse the poor video quality but this was taken with my small digital camera. It does however show the friendships and family part of this event! If you missed it, you missed a lot.

Some of the bands on stage were Birdwatchers, Montells, Dr. T and The Undertakers, Dead End Kids, Geekus, Steve Alaimo along with Rick Shaw, Dan Chandler of WQAM Radio/Majic 102.7 Children's Fund and Mal Thursday of Florida Rocks Again.

There probably were more on the stage and if I missed anyone, please comment and say hello.

And we can't forget to thank Jeff Lemlich (Author of Savage Lost and founder of the Limestone Lounge who helped to reunite some of these bands. http://www.limestonerecords.com

All of the proceeds from this event went to support the Majic Children's Fund
