This is a pretty fun little game developed by Aroma and published by Yumedia for the Super Famicom in 1995. It has some nice graphics and catchy music as well as two game modes. Both of which support multiplayer. I did a review of the game a few years back: http://adrastiana.tumblr.com/post/84128300743/game-review-coron-land-sfc

This is a game sample of the first three stages. Excuse my bad playing. It's been a long time.

The gameplay is sort of like a mix of Mendel Palace, Bomberman and Little Magic without the puzzle aspect.

It takes a little time to get the hang of what you are supposed to do. For the main mode you hoot at enemies to turn them into bubbles. You can then pick up the bubbles and throw them off screen or at other enemies. If you push a bubble it will get bigger and eventually become explosive. This is useful as long as you are careful. If you make the bubble max size it will gain a special power. You'll see a star or a black ball inside. There may be more. I'm not sure whether what you get is random or based on the enemy. Some enemies take multiple hits to be bubbled. While some enemies will die from one hit. Bombs explode when hit and this can be used to take enemies out with them. But if you venture too close to a bomb it will ram right into you. The goal of the game is to defeat all of the enemies (bombs included) in order to move on to the next stage. I'm not sure how many stages there are as I can't remember how far I got years back when I first played.

I'd say that if you want a physical copy it would be pretty import friendly. You don't need to know Japanese to play or enjoy the game.
