Foreign-Owned Company builds Accommodation for Employees near Bumbu River in Lae

Residents living along Cassowary Road in Lae have reported that a foreign owed company operating there has built employees accommodation on a reserve land near the Bumbu River using 20-foot containers. The community Rep, Moses Umba said the construction was out of boundry and within a disaster zone area. Umba sought clarification from the officers of Lands and Physical Planning Division.
