Talking and relaxing in nature, by a wetland cat-tail swamp, surrounded by white pine, hemlock, red oak and yellow birch. When our routines and lives are defined by commuting and driving in cars, working indoors, and being on a cell phone and computer, it's a good idea to bug out off-grid for a while, in raw nature, away from any buildings or even any trails, and observe what's going on. Plants grow and go through seasonal changes, birds feed on insects in the swamp, deer and coyote trails appear, sunlight streams through the trees, and peaceful sounds replace traffic and cell phones.
