The conflict in Syria is escalating. Civilians are bearing the brunt of indiscriminate violence. Over the past four months, MSF has opened four field hospitals in northern Syria, and is providing emergency medical treatment, including surgery. MSF medical teams have treated more than 2,500 patients and carried out around 550 surgical procedures, and MSF is looking to expand its relief activities.
