The Sri Lanka Under 20 7’s team in Hong Kong had a successful stint on day 1 winning both of their games in the group stage. Senior campaigner and former Antonian Dinuk Amerasinghe believes that the newcomers from the schools season was a value additive to the side. This year’s team had the likes of Gamunu Chethiya, Keshan Kavinda, Janidu Dilshan and Thulaib Hassen who are fresh off the schools circuit. The contributions from Dilshan and Hassen were a standout especially when the Junior Tuskers were trailing at half time in the first match.
