Depression is something we rarely talk about, and it's something we refrain from sharing.

I wanted to create a video where I shared my experience with depression, alongside sharing other experiences.

I recently posted the following in my Facebook group...

Depression feels like...

For me, it's sitting in a dark room with no furniture, alone in a corner in darkness.

As you fall deeper into depression, those walls close in.
When times are hard the walls are literally touching you, you can't move... you're stuck.

When you can't move those walls, it's one of the hardest things you'll go through.

It's frustrating, it's sad, it's hard to find strength to move them.

At some moments those walls give you space, you feel happier.

But ANYTHING can move them towards you again, trapping you in that corner.

The more space you create for yourself the better you'll feel.

Who's dealt or dealing with depression?

How do you describe it?

I'm on hand to help :) - as always!

Can you relate to any of the stories?

Do you want to share yours?
