"Campus Conversations" is a 30-minute series that explores a variety of issues, events, and topics of interest to the Montgomery College Community. In this episode, the Jay Mathews of the Washington Post discusses the well known and sometimes controversial "Challenge Index" that he has created to rate America's high schools; his writings on the college selection process and his book, "Harvard Schmarvard;" and his various experiences as a long-time education writer. Montgomery College is a public, multicampus community college in Montgomery County, Maryland.
