On the request of Goa government, the Supreme Court has adjourned for 3 weeks the hearing on Special Leave Petition filed by former Editor of Tahelka magazine Tarun Tejpal in connection with 2013 junior colleague rape case. Tarun Tejpal is before Supreme Court pleading to quash and set aside the charges framed by the trial court against him. Meanwhile, the interim order of the Supreme Court will continue holding the trial in the case till further order. Tejpal has been charged for raping junior colleague in November, 2013 in an elevator of a hotel in Goa.
