Odakyu Railway's series 7000 was named as "LSE(Luxury Super Express)", and had been mainly used for the express trains connecting from Shinjuku to Hakone, which is famous hot spring resort, since 1980. The operator's cab is in a raised compartment, allowing to have passenger's observation seats in the very front or rear of the train. Also, it designed ride comfort-oriented, which has articulated bogies for lower center of gravity.
