The year is 2059 and corporations battle for control of Earth's last remaining oil refinery. This is a trailer for a stop motion animation I planned but didn't have time to complete. It was shot in my garage with a large amount of sand and a collection of Corgi and Can.DO M1 Abrams tanks. The animated sequences were created with a Panasonic GS5 miniDV camcorder, a laptop and AnimatorDV Simple. The camera was connected via Firewire so individual frames could be captured on demand. The frame rate was approximately 10-15 frames a second. The final trailer and effects were edited together using Adobe Premiere. Now available in YouTube High(er) Quality! Keywords : stop motion animation, frame, still, m1 abrams, tank, military, oil refinery, war, battle, adobe premiere, animatordv, camcorder, film trailer
