"By the year of 2020, some experts say there will be close to 2000 different materials that can not be put into products. Teamcenter must allow for these different standards, " said Dr. Randall Ledford, CTO of Emerson Electric Company at 2012 Innovation Leadership Summit, Arizona.

"Active Workpace is major forward step for Siemens and PLM. If it lives up to what I have seen, it will make Siemens' competitors struggled to keep up," added Dr. Ledford.
