Color Magnet is a dye attractant made by Jacquard Products (www.jacquardproducts.com). It is applied to fabric and allowed to dry. The fabric is then dyed with a very diluted dye color. Everywhere Color Magnet has been applied, you get a very intense color, because the dye becomes very concentrated in those areas. Everywhere else remains very pale in shade. This video demonstrates both the Color Magnet Pen and the Color Magnet Silkscreening Medium by Jacquard. Both are used along with tie-dyeing techniques in a washing machine using Jacquard's iDye.
