This is a 12 mile skate I do regularly. The course is very nice with a dowhill start and uphill finish. There's a portion in the middle that goes from the nature center to the turnaround that the GPS says is relatively flat. There mus be many optical illusions because it feels like I skate slightly uphill until at least the first turn on the dam. One day will do some time trials in the flat spot to see how they go.
