This here is a response to KingdomCarts' effort in doing The North Carolina Gradius Death Challenge Response. I'm not perfect and the whole point is the following:First, start Gradius and then pause the game and do the Konami code which is Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A and then Start. After that, collect the first 15 power-ups and use each one to Speed Up. After that, try as hard as you can to survive without dying. It turns out that I got my butt handed to me by the mid portion of the second stage. I'm not perfect but what can I do.
