Greetings, Eric Bakker, the naturopath from all the way down in New Zealand. Thank you for coming back and looking at my channel. Have you subscribed yet? I hope you guys have.
Right, let's talk about this case here. It's not a case, it's a condition. Interstitial cystitis. Is candida cleanse good for interstitial cystitis? Of course it's good. A candida cleanse is good for many chronic conditions. In fact, I had a patient yesterday, a lady in her 50s with interstitial cystitis. This lady's had this condition for 10 years.
The interesting thing is, when I kept asking her about why this thing started, she's what, 56? I said, "When you were in your mid-40s, what happened?" "I don't know, I can't remember," she said. "But, I do remember one thing. I had a problem with my tooth, and I went on antibiotics for six months for the problem."
And I said "Well then, what happened?" And she said "Well, the problem slowly started after that."
Now, what do you think's happened? She's destroyed her guy flora, big time. Not only has she destroyed her guy flora, she's destroyed her bladder flora. You can wreck flora in different parts of the body with antibiotics, not just in the gut. A candida cleanse is a very smart move for anybody with interstitial cystitis.
Now, this patient yesterday was naughty, because I said to her "When was the last time you had something that was not so nice?" She said "Well, I had a chocolate biscuit this morning." I said "Well, that's not a good idea with cystitis. You wanna keep away from the stuff. No alcohol, no chocolate, no coffee and tea. These are all bladder irritants that have to be stopped."
So, if you've got interstitial cystitis and you're watching this, the first thing you do is stop chocolate 100%. Sugar is the big enemy for the bladder, so be careful, alright? Sugary foods. We're also talking about coffee, tea, alcohol, candy, ice cream, most dairy products need to be stopped with cystitis. A big diet change needs to occur. You probably know what foods need to go if you've got cystitis.
If you've got the problem and it's not going away, you need to be a lot tougher on yourself, because the condition's pretty tough on you, isn't it? You must be sick and tired of going to the bathroom every several times a day, because that's what interstitial cystitis can do.
The patient yesterday was going to the bathroom eight to nine times at night, getting up. That's terrible. How could you sleep like that? You can't sleep like that. It is a condition that does respond to candida cleanse.
Here's what I think you should do if you've got interstitial cystitis, especially chronic. Get a comprehensive stool analysis done, determine what bugs you've got in your gut, and in turn, take the corrective and appropriate action based on that test. I think you might be quite surprised.
Probiotics work very well with interstitia cystitis, especially group probiotics like lactobacillus arabinosis, lactobacillus plantarum, lactobacillus acidophilus.
There are various studies that are showing now that probiotics, especially lactobacillus strains, are beneficial for people with interstitial cystitis. You wanna take them three times per day with food, and you wanna go on a candida cleanse at the same time. Watch what happens. You might be quite surprised.
Thanks for tuning in.
