African farmers urged to gain more access to global markets

2018 needs to be a year in which stakeholders must put focus on the reality on the ground for African farmers. Lord Boateng, a former British High commissioner to South Africa told CNBC Africa that focus should shift to ensure that the African farmers also get fair access to regional and global markets if their full potential is to be harnessed.
