ELMER BERNSTEIN (1922 - 2004) talks about collaborating with Charles and Ray Eames on their films.  Over many years of collaborating with Charles and Ray Eames, starting with A COMMUNICATIONS PRIMER (1953) Elmer Bernstein composed more than 30 pieces of music for their films, including Toccata For Toy Trains (1957), Think (1964), Tops (1969) and Powers of Ten (1977).

A composer best known for his film scores, Bernstein was nominated for 14 Academy Awards.  He won the Oscar for THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE and he also won two Golden Globe Awards, an Emmy and was nominated for two Grammys.
