Economists fear that Germany's gross domestic product could shrink by up to 6 percent this year and have written off 2009 as a crisis year. But in the midst of the worst financial crisis in post-war history,a ray of hope has now appeared.Munich's Ifo Institute says business confidence worldwide is on the rise again for the first time since autumn 2007. Is Germany's export industry experiencing a market recovery? Are businesses as optimistic as the stock exchange was recently?
