Caitlin Notey is a singer songwriter from Los Angeles who has just started a new band called Huxlee. She sings, write the songs, play guitar and banjo, and is lucky enough to have some of her best friends in the band. Notey has been in love with music and has been playing music her whole life. She was everything from a die hard student of Destiny's Child to the lead singer of a progressive metal band to a folk-obsessed shoe-less hippie weirdo . . . . In her TEDxOlympicBlvdWomen performance, Notey wows the audience with two of her inventive and soulful originals. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
