In this video, we will talk briefly about an ideal gas, and state the ideal gas law. We will also go over the results of kinetic theory - kinetic theory is the application of basic principles of physics to individual molecules. The main result of kinetic theory is a fundamental insight into what temperature is, which is a measure of the average kinetic energy of the molecules.
