Sooo...Gor and I are about to make another video for one of the best local bands out- The Nerve Scheme.Hector (lead singer) asked if maybe I could make puppets of the band to go with Bobby's (drummer) idea of some stop motion action. I said "I can do that". I totally think I CAN do that, I just needed to pick the brain of my good friend Alan for some inspiration and tips. Alan has sculpted some phenomenal shit for GWAR and I knew he was the perfect person to ask for some knowledge. I've sculpted some crazy Giger-esque baby faces, but never tried actual people-heads before. Alan started by making Bobby's head to teach me some techniques. My responsibility is to now make heads of Hector and Greg (bass player), as well as a hat and glasses for Bobby. I will more add links soon..Alan is still here, and the Sculpey is still out, so I wanna' sculpt now..hahaa! I will also be making the bodies of all three "puppets". The story behind the shirt is- The Nerve Scheme came over to our house to meet with Gor and I to hash out some ideas for their video. Bobby accidentally left one of his shirts here...and it truly smells delicious..hahaa! Alan and Gor agree.
