Recorded at Fellini's Pizza in Decatur, GA on 11/20/10.

I actually wrote this song in 1996 after seeing the TNT Original Movie "Crazy Horse", I adapted for ukulele a year or so ago. You can listen to the original version here: http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_4588394

A Good Place to Be
©2010, DeGirolamo

He wanted peace, but got a war.
For every kill, there came a dozen more.
They took his home, his family
To take his life it took some treachery.
It doesn't matter where his body lies,
 Underneath the fields of green,
But the place in which his spirit flies,
Would be the finest place to be.
Such a good place to be...
When Yellow Hair came around,
The Greasy Grass became a killing ground.
On battlefields, invincible,
so they hunted him like he was an animal.
It doesn't matter where his body lies,
 Underneath the fields of green,
But the place in which his spirit flies,
Would be the finest place to be.
Such a good place to be...
